The work started from a practical sales problem: the client needed a way to create plate previews quickly from a phone without having to open laptop-based design software while on the move.
At Strapped Plate, my role was Project Lead and QA across two connected web projects built for a practical sales workflow. The first project was a plate generator that let the client create previews directly from a phone, without having to open Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator on a laptop just to prepare a customer-ready result.
That generator turned a previously manual design handoff into a lightweight web tool: input the required parameters, preview the plate instantly, then download the output. This mattered because the client often needed to respond while traveling, and speed was lost whenever the process depended on desktop design software.
The second project was an enhancement phase. It added a WhatsApp-template parsing flow so pasted customer chat text could populate the parameters automatically and go straight into generation, plus it expanded supported plate types from Indonesia and Japan into Europe as well. Together, these two projects show a focused workflow improvement where I led the direction and handled quality assurance to keep the final tool practical for real use.

This project was built to solve a practical client-side sales problem. When the client was away from a laptop, they could not quickly prepare number plate previews because the existing workflow depended on Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. That made even a simple response slow whenever an order inquiry came in while traveling.
View Project DetailThis project was the enhancement phase of the original Strapped Plate generator. After the first version solved the basic preview and download problem, the next step was reducing input friction and broadening the generator so it could handle more real customer scenarios with less manual effort from the client.

The work started from a practical sales problem: the client needed a way to create plate previews quickly from a phone without having to open laptop-based design software while on the move.
Built the first web generator so the client could enter plate parameters, preview the result directly from the site, and download it immediately without touching Photoshop or Illustrator.

The first generator flow was already in place before the next year moved the work into a more efficiency-driven enhancement phase.
Added WhatsApp-template parsing so pasted customer chat could fill the generator automatically, and expanded supported plate types from Indonesia and Japan to Europe.
